Why Pantry Point
You’re buying the groceries anyway. Pantry Point makes sure your cart pays you back with something fun.
How it works
Fill your cart like you always do. Participating brands are hiding in plain sight on the shelves you already visit.
Take a photo of your receipt after checkout. Canny reads it and adds your points.
Trade your points for a gift card from one of your favorite retailers. No clipping required.

What earns points
If it lives in your pantry, there’s a good chance it earns.

Soups, pasta, sauces, and baking basics. Canny’s personal favorite aisle, for obvious reasons.

Chips, crackers, cookies, and the after-school stash. Crunch time finally pays off.

Paper towels, detergent, and cleaning supplies. Even the boring buys count.

Pizzas, veggies, and weeknight dinners. Cool picks, hot points.
FAQ
No. Pantry Point is free to join, and there are no fees to earn points, check your balance, or redeem a gift card. Participating brands fund the rewards because they want to thank the households that buy their products. All you need to do is shop the way you normally would and upload your receipts.
You can shop at any grocery store, supercenter, or pharmacy that carries participating brands. Points are tied to the products on your receipt, not the store you bought them at, so you don’t need to switch stores or carry a separate loyalty card. As long as your receipt is clear and shows the store name, date, and items purchased, it can be scanned for points.
Participating products fall into four categories: pantry staples, snacks, household essentials, and frozen favorites. Once you’re a member, you can browse the full list of participating brands and products, which grows as new brands join. If you’re not sure whether something counts, upload the receipt anyway and we’ll award points for every eligible item we find.
Gift cards start at $5 in value, so you can redeem as soon as you reach the lowest tier. If you’d rather save up, you can hold your points and redeem for a larger gift card later. You can choose from Target, Kroger, Instacart, Macy’s, and Walmart, and you can switch retailers each time you redeem.
Your points stay in your account as long as you upload at least one receipt every 12 months. If your account goes a full year without any activity, your points may expire, and we’ll send you a reminder before that happens. Redeeming a gift card doesn’t reset or affect your remaining balance.
We’re rolling out region by region as participating brands join the program and make their products eligible in more stores. Enter your ZIP code and email in the eligibility check to see whether Pantry Point is available near you. If it isn’t yet, we’ll save your spot and email you as soon as it arrives.
